Genshin Impact: Nilou’s Ascension Materials and Locations

With her grace and charm, Nilou captured the hearts of many Genshin Impact fans when she first appeared as a quest-exclusive NPC in “Chapter III: Act I – Through Mists of Smoke and Forests Dark.” Now that she’s officially announced to become playable in Version 3.1 (Phase 2), Nilou wanters might be wondering what Nilou’s ascension materials are.

On the other hand, if you’re wondering where you can find Nilou’s ascension materials, check them out below:

This group of gems is used for ascending Hydro characters. You can obtain them primarily by fighting Normal Bosses and Weekly Bosses.

Normal Bosses that drop Varunada Lazurite – Confront Stormterror
– Enter the Golden House
– Beneath the Dragon-Queller
Weekly Bosses that drop Varunada Lazurite – Rhodeia of Loch
– Primo Geovishap
– Hydro Hypostasis

According to Honey Impact, the PERPETUAL CALIBER is dropped by an upcoming boss called Aeonblight Drake. This boss, which will be released in Genshin Impact Version 3.1, is also expected to drop Varunada Lazurite gems. You can hit two birds with one stone (get gems and Perpetual Caliber) by fighting this boss once it is released. However, you may also farm gems from other bosses ahead of time.

If you’re new to the game, you can craft higher rarity gems or convert one gem into another via Alchemy. You can do this by interacting with the crafting benches in the different cities in Teyvat.

As a local specialty in Sumeru, Padisarah can only be found in the region. Check out the map below for Padisarah‘s locations:

Spores, Pollen, and Cyst Dust are dropped by several kinds of Fungi in Sumeru. If you’re running low on these materials and are unsure where you can find some Fungi, you can check the enemy’s location by going to the Paimon Menu > Adventurer Handbook > Enemies > Fungus > Navigate.

You can also craft higher rarity Fungi drops via Alchemy.
