Whiskey Circus returns with rare whiskey raffle, tastings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The second annual Whiskey Circus tasting-fundraising event is back.

The benefit for A Special Wish Foundation of Northeast Ohio offers whiskey tastings (with an emphasis on bourbon) and a rare whiskey raffle. The event is 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 1.

The raffle will feature as many as 25 rare whiskeys. Guests can buy $20 raffle tickets at the event. Winners will be announced starting at 5:30 p.m.

The event also will offer a bonus raffle, which will feature high-value items including a 10-day trip to Ireland, an emerald necklace designed by A Special Wish child, and a one-year florist subscription.

Singer Sammi Butler will perform, and circus-themed entertainment includes a fire breather, stilt walkers, aerial artists, juggler and tarot-card reader.

Tickets are limited. Cost is $85 and includes 10 half-ounce pours of 50 different whiskeys offered, heavy appetizers, raffles and whiskey seminars.

Cleveland Bourbon Co-op members will pour and discuss the bourbons. Wine and beer will be available for purchase.

Last year’s event sold out.
