Irish Coffee

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. fresh brewed hot coffee
  • 1 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1.5 oz Irish Whiskey
  • Heavy cream, lightly whipped

Directions

Preheat serving mug by filling with hot water. Empty water from mug and fill 3/4 full with very hot coffee.

Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.

Add Irish whiskey and stir gently.

Pour lightly whipped cream slowly over the back of a spoon onto the coffee being careful not to break the coffee’s surface. Alternate option to finish: whip the cream a bit more to soft peaks and add a dollop on top of coffee.
